Sports!

Jake and I have been talking recently and wondering what sports, if any, Kennedy will play when she gets a little older. She has shown quite a bit of interest in them in the past couple of weeks! She is definitely like her father in that area.
She found one of Jake's golf balls and has been carrying it around with her everywhere! She loves to pound it on things. I think she likes the noise it makes especially when she throws it and it bounces on the tile floors.
Here she is watching the NBA playoffs. She was soooooo into it! She doesn't like to watch cartoons yet, but when Daddy is watching sports she sits right next to him and watches them too!
For her birthday her Grandma Chesnut got her a cute little pink soccer ball. She LOVES it! I was helping her practice throwing the ball and she was laughing so hard. She thought it was the funniest thing ever! :)

Camille- hey about the dresser. First you have to determine if its solid hard wood or laminated press board. If its solid wood then you need to sand down to the wood. Ours was just painted pressboard; so we just roughed up the surface and painted it. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and they can help you figure out paint etc. That's where we bought our hardware too. It was really fun. Send pictures once you do it so we can see the final product.

I love that she watches games with Jake. That is just like Hallie and I think it is the great that she is into sports. That's one quality that guys love, as you know, so help her keep that one up.

Kennedy on Jake's lap reminds me of Jacob sitting on my lap watching 'Hill Street Blues' on Thursday night. Jake was a couple years older.
