A BOY!
We found out that our little bun in the oven in going to be a boy! Jake knew it all along. From the day we found out we were pregnant he was calling it a he. At our appointment the other morning I went in with a very open mind and prepared for whatever the doctor told us. After looking at the screen for a while I came to the conclusion that it was a girl. The doctor then asked, "would you like to know the sex?" I said, "I think we can already tell what it is." Then he proceeded to tell us that it was a boy. So needless to say, our little boy at this point is not as well endowed as his father would like to claim. Regardless we are still so excited! Now deciding on a name is going to be a challenge. Hopefully by September 23rd we can come to some type of agreement. Stay tuned!

I vote to Jimmy Jack Sherrill. I think that would cover some bases. He would sound like a southern boy with his 2 names. Jimmy Jack. Call him Jimmy, J.J., J. Jack, or Jimmy J. What a fun name.
I love the idea of Jaxson! Especially since he will be born so close to Grandpa Jacks birthday! You could call him Jax for short. Then you'll have Great Grandpa Jack covered and Jacki also cause that's her nickname.
Congrats! We are SO excited that Jake can throw around his little "dude" and leave Kennedy for hula lessons w/ both feet on the ground!! Jackson is a great name for the perpetuation of the Sherrill name... "JS!"
