Things have been really busy around here! All of the Sherrill family was here and we had so much fun. Right after they left Jake decided it was time to move into a bigger office, which meant buying new furniture for it! We got it all from IKEA so of course that means putting it all together. So pretty much the past week that is what we have been working on. Kennedy started swimming lesson yesterday. She was awesome! I feel like she is the perfect age for it. Some of the kids younger than her cried the whole time or didn't really understand what they were supposed to do. She was so good. We have 7 more lessons to go. By the end she better be as good as Michael Phelps. haha By the way we have also been staying up till 1am every night to watch the Olympics! Jake has decided Kennedy is going to be a gymnast. I'm not sure how I feel about that. We will see! Well I just wanted to update on everything that's been going on. Sorry the picture has nothing to do with anything, but I took it yesterday so I thought I would put it up. Kennedy loves all her dollies! Hopefully soon I will have something interesting to blog about!

We have been up late watching the Olympics too! We LOVE it. But I was thinking that if Kennedy has been taken swimming lessons maybe she will be the next gold metal swimmer. Isaac loves watching it too. Ty decided he will also be a gold metalist. I am sure he will probably beat Michael Phelps record.
Now that's a good mommy with all her babies. No one gets left out! It's to hear that it was such a great family get-together! Hope we can come visit soon!
Kennedy will be an Olympic volleyball player like her aunts.
She'll be too tall to be a gymnast by the time she's 8 yrs old.

Reminds me of myself -- I always had my "muskie" (a red stuffed thing that I'm guessing my dad thought looked like a muskrat--as a matter of fact, I think my dad is the only person I know who even knows what a muskrat looks like!) when I was her age. I remember I dropped it in the water on a fishing trip with mommy and daddy, then flipped my lid til someone went in to rescue it.
Kennedy can do gymnastics like Rachelle is -- practicing in the living room. Rachelle is going to be too tall for competitive gymnastics too. I loved gymnastics as a middle schooler -- but I was too tall, heavy and klutsy. The vaulting horse was my best event.
Brooks and I are hooked on the olympics too!
We miss you guys already! I LOVE buying new furniture, but putting it together is no fun!
Oh yeah, one more thing, I could NEVER have Jordyn be a gymnast! When Shawn Johnson was doing her beem routine, I almost had a heart attack and the girl isn't even my daughter... or relative. I would be a MESS!!!
